ROCHEM ANTI-MOIST (WATER DISPLACING ELECTROSOL)

 

Rochem Anti-Moist is a multi purpose cleaner that easily removes oily soils, displaces water, and leaves behind a lubricating, corrosion protective, non-greasy film, Rochem Anti-Moist maintains and restores electrical and electronic equipment from the effects of moisture and corrosion. It also protects metals against corrosion.

 

USAGE

 

Rochem Anti-Moist cab be safely used on all metals and painted surfaces, motors, control panels, switchgear, ignition systems, relays, precision tools and instruments, machined surfaces, etc. It will not harm most plastics, rubber or paint when used as directed.

 

CHARACTERISTICS

 

Rochem Anti-Moist has a low surface tension and high capillary action that allows it to spread rapidly over any metal surface, displacing water and moisture as it spreads. Its penetrating action seals the metal surface preventing corrosion, restoring and maintaining resistance of insulating materials.

 

APPLICATION

 

Liberally apple Rochem Anti-Moist on all surfaces and equipment to be cleaned and protected. This can be done by aerosol spray, brush, swab of immersion methods. For scaled/ solid surfaces apply Anti-Moist thoroughly to form protective film over descaled areas. Immersion of wet parts will cause water to fall off and sink to bottom of container. There is no need to remove Anti-Moist before using equipment. However, prior to painting of parts treated with Anti-Moist rising with Rochem Electrosol Plus may be desirable.

 

For restoration of electrical equipment and metal parts after flooding, firstly, remove salt water deposits and dirt with fresh water. Then saturate all parts of the equipment with Anti-Moist preferably by immersion. Periodic measurement of the insulation resistance will indicate return of equipment to operating conditions.

 

CAUTION

 

Anti-Moist should be used only with adequate ventilation. Avoid prolonged breathing of vapours or skin contact. DO NOT SWALLOW. Keep away from open flame and high radiant heat. Do not puncture or throw aerosol cans on fire.
